I am contemplating building one as well. But the amazon price has gone up almost double. Also, wondering have you figured a solution for packing this? This just needs a wok rak/ring like you would use on a commercial gas stove. They are $8-12.

Mine doesn’t feel very wobbly. It’s currently sitting on 22” 1/2 EMT. I used cable and springs to make a holder for a Walmart single burner and when assembled it’s pretty stable. Cools a great steak too.Too wobbly and unstable. Maybe with some kind of insert for the tubing. This stand also provides a solution for mounting the burner without modifying the disc. I can still use the disc the way it was originally intended. I’m going to try it sitting on one half of my two burner stove to see how that work.

The wrench is cool. I used a pair of 00 horse shoes for mine.Just finished making mine, $17.99 for the disc from tractor supply and scrap metal laying around the garage. View attachment 136502View attachment 136503View attachment 136504

what kind of burner is that?Wife wanted one of those cowboy woks so I bought a Bayou Classic griddle. She likes the height as is so I just added an old burner to it.

I don't know. I kept the good burner from an old, broken, cast iron two burner stove we had and used it.what kind of burner is that?
