Can anyone give me some tips as to Dispersed camp locations around the Carson River area? What’s ok what’s not?

Sorry I can't give you any dispersed info. I have stayed at the park in Dayton, it was nice and not crowded 5 years ago. You don't say where on the Carson you are looking to go. I did find a sweet camping area although in a NVSP at Walker River State rec area; Walker River State Recreation Area | State Parks Go to the Elbow at 9-mile and use the Bighorn Campground. I was there 2 days last fall and only 1 other site was full. Great views, water, snakes and it's Nevada, mosquitos.

thanks ,I’ll check that out. I’m looking at the 88/89 area for some fly fishing.. I love that Google Earth, it’s like a magic carpet.
