I just wanted to share something that happened today. It may not seem like much to most of you, but it was awesome to me.
I was headed to a store today and when going through the parking lot, I came across a fellow 5th gem 4Runner owner in passing. He nodded to me as he passed me like we both belong to an exclusive club. His rig was decked out somewhat and it was quite clear he was driving no pavement princess. My rig is still bone stock and shows no indication of my intentions of overlanding, so the fact he nodded an acknowledgement made my day. Just a simple gesture went a long way.
So a shout out to this guy. Not sure if you’re here, but if your are, this was in the Red Deer Alberta area on Sunday Jan 23. Again, you made my day.
