Explore the eastern Sierras west of Bishop in Coyote Flats. Trail begins at 4,000 feet in the Owens Valley rising up to Coyote Flat resting at 10,000 feet in the shadows of the Palisade Peaks. Main road in an out approximately 55 miles round trip, excluding site trips on spur roads.

Looks to be a great trip, love the "Extra" in the RP. all good points......

I got family coming to Reno that week or I would love to join in as never been there. Please keep me in mind for the next one!

I really want to do this trip but this is the same time we leave for PNW Expo
 
Added myself - I am coming from Oakland. Coyote Flats was on my bucket list for this year and these dates fit just right. 4Runner gets some suspension work done on Friday. I should probably meet up with you on the way, or in Bishop, maybe.
 
Really sorry, but I am not going to make this trip. It will have to stay on my bucket list for a bit.
Not sure how to get off the attending list, never bailed before.
