Covid interrupted.

After 8 months of planning the first leg of a round the world trip from Cape Town to Tbilisi via Cairo we (my Land Rover Defender and I) managed to reach northern Mozambique before South Africa went into lockdown and I had of come back. 7 months of living out of Airbnb’s we (now joined by my girlfriend) managed to cross into Namibia for 5 weeks, where we worked on a project documenting indigenous people with dementia who were accused of being witches .... a long story. Now back in Cape Town, the epic trip will have to wait for the covid chaos to end and free travel across borders returns.

Dementia sufferers treated as witches is heartbreaking. Presumably there are education programmes being initiated?
