And we are back! It has been awhile since I have been active on my forum thread.
Oooo ahhh! 3.5" j series OME lift and extended length nitro charger shocks are all installed and have been put to work!
More than happy with the gains in travel and comfort.. I originally tried to push the limit and not run castor correction, although castor is only a handling angle not a tire wearing one the wandering of the vehicle was unsafe and annoying so I ended up putting in the correction plates from Slee off road and have not had a problem since..
My most recent purchase is of an ARB Rear locker and compressor, unfortunately my 80 never came with factory locking diffs thereby leaving me at a disadvantage. I did my research and talk to another owner who was parting there fzj80 out with factory locking diffs so it was between an axel swap or the ARB air lockers. The answer was right in front of me in the big ARB letters, reliable, on board air, and I have been happy with all my ARB products and reliability. The brand name always is good for an ease of mind when you get your rig out and put it to the test!
Will post some install pictures of compressor and the install of the diff when done [emoji106]
