HEY! I see tons of awesome trucks all over modesto, and the central valley and I don't see a regular meetup. Is there any interest? We are newer to the area and would love to find some great people to go out and explore with. If people are interested I don't mind doing the logistics to get a Regular Meetup going

Thanks Guys! I was really active in a group in AZ before moving here... and getting back there to do one trip a year is just not enough. I don't know the great places to go in this area and its always more fun with a good group...so I am game to try and get something going in this area. I would love to know what kind of format you guys recommend. I would ideally like to make it family friendly as my wife and two boys love to go out...The ones we had in AZ were more "car show meetup" style, but adding in education is a great idea. and getting some regular trips on the calendar would be fun too!

Below is a link to the original meet up thread I created, we had about 40 regulars or so. I mirrored Kent’s format in that we would meet a certain day or the month, the first hour was lunch and learning techniques or skills plus trip planning. I have found that standing around kicking tires isn‘t that fun without planning for trips and using the gear we purchased! The second hour was out by the rigs so people can talk shop. Again I’ll say that planning for trips is key to keep engagement.

Good luck!
