I apologize if I missed it, but was wondering if there's a central california coastal group? There seems to be a lot of groups in california but none around here? I'm in monterey area.

Lisa,
There has been an occasional meet-up on the coast north of you but it is not active anymore. If you are interested in seeing who might be interested in getting together you can use the member map to message members in the area to get something started.
There are quite a few members locally and I am sure some would love to get together.

Hi Lisa, like Kent said currently there is not a meet up happening in your area. However that’s not to say that aren’t people that wouldn’t be interested in coming to one. I lead a meet up that happens in Pleasanton California which is the Eastbay but that’s quite a drive for you. However I still have a man from Morgan Hill who makes the drive every month. We are always looking to grow and expand more groups and looking for people who might be interested in starting a meet up.

I’d be willing to set up a meet up somewhere in your area and see what kind of response we can get, and from there maybe see if someone would be willing to spearhead it. Let me know if you’d be interested in helping do a first meet up and I can arrange the rally point and lead the meeting, if we have a good place to get some food and place to park rigs.

I’m in Watsonville and it’d be great to get something going locally. I’m brand new to all this and looking to learn.

There’s more around you than you think! I recommend a radius search on the map function of the website. It pulls up all the members in that radius and you can send a message out. You’d be surprised!
