Sewed up a cargo net for the top of my rear cargo box. I bought a 10 dollar 6 pack of cam buckle straps from Amazon, mostly for the cam buckle part but the webbing was reused for this project as well instead of burning though my existing webbing. I took one strap removed the cam buckle and mocked it up around the edge of the box 1 inch in from the edge, used a sharpie to mark where it needed to be folded and what not.
After sewing up the "perimeter" strap, I layed it out on the floor and put in my center straps and cut them to size and marked them as needed. I started off by sewing each cross strap to the perimeter strap. After that I went back though and sewed each cross strap together.
Next I cut 4 "cinch" straps out at 2 feet each and sewed them to each corner.
I haven't done this much sewing in a while I forgot how time consuming box stitches are to do hah.
