I have a 2018 Ram 2500 that I am looking to install a camper shell on. My thought is to take my KB Voodoo bed rack off that I currently have installed, install the camper shell, and then install the roof top tent on a slide out tray. I want the tent on the tray to be above the bed so it basically fits in the top portion of the camper shell.
Looking for suggestions or pics if some one else has already done this. I am leaving my bed free for storage and the top of the camper shell free for my kayaks. The bed will slide out the back and then fold over normal. I would install legs that fold down from the tray that would carry the load in the out position. Thanks for any insight that is shared.
