Pathfinder III
If your like me and like cooking out of the back of your vehicle, then you probably have problems getting your setup level. I came up with a fairly inexpensive solution. I have a Lexus GX 470 with the Orange Boxx Fabrication rear drop down table. The table is fantastic and probably my most useful addition the rig. However, it’s not always easy to find level ground to park on when setting up camp. I use my table to hold my Partner Steel two burner stove when cooking. The stove does not come with any feet to adjust for leveling. So what I did is drilled a 19/32” (0.593) hole in each corner and pressed in some Well Nuts with a 5/8” (0.625) outer diameter and 5/16-18 inner thread in from the bottom of the stove. I then screwed in some knobs with a 5/16-18 stud attached and boom now your stove can be leveled. Hope this helps someone else. I purchased the hardware at Lowe’s.
Note: You may need to cut an angled lead into the rubber on the Well Nuts to assist in pressing into the hole. It’s a tight fit, but this makes sure they don’t spin while adjusting the height of the stove.
