Sicily island off road park.
Pictures was a few months ago. Trails are mild to wild, mud, rocks, creeks. Camping is allowed in all areas. The property is kelp clean and the trails are in nice shape. The owner “just 1 guy” takes care of the property. There are bathrooms with showers also. And they are clean. If anyone wants to know any information about the property just shoot me a PM!!

SNRA, ID dispersed camping. I'm only in a spot for the evening so having the van is my preferred way to camp as it has all I need inside. Take out the chair, use the little foot stool as a table, and Bob's your uncle. I like campfires but out west, at least in the forests, I like to be careful. In the evening, I do something more hardcore than you lot; I go inside, sit on the sofa, and read a book. ;)

we just got back from Sylamore District Ozark National Forest Fri, Sat. & Sun.
I grilled some pork steaks, Sally my wife made some corn, & mash potatoes for supper & had a few adult beverages. Sat around the camp fire & talked about the next overland camping trailer build I'll be doing this year.
This morning Sally made breakfast & coffee (cinnamon rolls) then went for a walk looking at the sites.
We both slept comfortable & was warm in our RTT with the insulator insert by Tepui fits our Smittybilt RTT 2783 model like a glove. The queen size Exped Duo 10 XL XW mattress in our roof top tent is like sleeping on a tempurpedic mattress. After we took our time packing up we decided to run more of the roads looking for more camping spots for a later date. We found a few more so I entered the coordinates in the GPS.

Even though it was probably one of the clunkiest setups I've had, There's alot of good memories in this setup. This was in early 2014, In the woods in Flagstaff. I was a volunteer at Overland Expo that year.

Although it's a messy setup, the things that make it so memorable is the fact that most of this gear is the gear we used camping in my childhood, pulled out of storage and put back into service. Minus the tent, water jerry's, and they yeti cooler in the background (which wasn't even mine, we just had them next to my jeep so that they were in the shade most of the day), most of this gear hadn't seen daylight in about 14 years, since my parents bought a motorhome and began camping out of that. The thing that makes this setup great is that everything works, and has a function. Although the Generator went out in the coleman stove (Hey, it lasted the past 70ish years without a problem!) There were plenty of other stoves there that I could use. I have since refined this kid, made it smaller in some ways, but a lot of it still sees use in the modern setup.
I know this is 3 years old but it looks like you are still active, what camp kitchen/table setup is that? It looks real sturdy compared to a lot of the junk out there.

OLD OLD OLD school Coleman Camp Kitchen. It is made from aluminum primarily, and without weight around the legs it flops around pretty good, haha. I can't complain. Fits perfectly in the roof rack and is great since I've moved over to propane for my stove (I could damn near tip the thing over trying to pump up the pressure in the old stove!). It is now flanked by an injection molded table I bought secondhand off of my old job when we shut that store down. Although, the camp gear I have since this photo was taken has changed drastically and is probably better suited for this setup than what I was using at the time.

First off kickass thread!! +1 So my camp trip was also pretty epic. I spent some time up in North GA a few months back. I met up with 5 random people I never met before. They were all toyota guys and it left me as being the only Jeep in the convoy. Had a blast with these people over the next 3 days and would do it again in an instant. Made great friends and good memories.

I live in Shreveport, La and am building RTT OB set up now. I like your set up with the trailer, what kind of trailer is that and where did you get it?
