I'm new to the forums but I have followed Overland Bound for sometime on YouTube.
This photo was taken on Portsmouth Island off the Southern Outer Banks in North Carolina. It involves getting a small ferry to the island and there are no facilities on the 22mile island except for bathrooms and a small NPS office next to the launch. FREEDOM!
Not the greatest, but camping outside of Davis, West Virginia. Set up camp at 9pm, woke up wide awake at 3am (thanks 4 night shifts in a row), broke camp and drove to the top of Dolly Sods Wilderness and slept in the front seat to wait for the sunrise. Definitely was worth it.
A friend came in from out of town and we went to their little cabin in the country of Ohio. The cabin is 100 or so years old. Was an old doctors office. Only picture I got was the set up.
New to the forums, made a post or two already. Thought I could fit in with this thread.
My wife and I are big fans of the Eastern Sierra's, so we headed up the 395 over Labor Day for a little camping. Pulling the trigger so last minute, we used BLM land to camp since all the campgrounds were taken up. Anyways, here's a few shots from our weekend:
