I love my old coleman propane, but there's just something about LED lanterns that are really nice... I just ordered 2 Luci lights on Amazon as well as 2 of the Wagan 220 LED lights mentioned by the OP...

My wife also picked up to Luminaid inflatable lights as well.. 1 for the bug out bag, and 1 for the truck.

Can't wait to try them out.

I'm a fan of the propane Coleman for outdoors, around the "kitchen", and LED for flashlights and in the tent.

I've got one of these and they are great but they suck through batteries for some reason.. Which reminds me I need to change the batteries in mine.

Thanks for the heads up I'll carry plenty of spare batteries.

This is my preferred lantern. It's by Energizer (the battery company). This lights up our big tent inside. The lens rotates and its dimmable. You have the option to use 8 AA batteries or just 4. Plus it fits perfectly in this random hard case I had laying around.

Another vote for the Gear Aid stuff. Got a Flux for Christmas, just got to use it for the first time over the last two nights. It was awesome! So much light in our "rustic" cabin.
I strung some string between a few beams and hung it right above our table. Used it most of the night Friday and then on and off Saturday. Only dropped one light on the battery indicator.

Very happy with the product so far.

Here it is on what I think was the lowest setting, we never had to use it much higher as it was plenty bright.

L to R Hybeam LED Lantern, UCO Candle Lantern, Colemand LED Quad Lantern

The UCO can also provide heat and help prevent condensation in tents (use with caution, :-\)
