Build starting: 2006 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

I mounted to control box under the hood. After removing the air intake horn, the controller dropped right onto a hole on the inner fender. Perfect fit !!

That’s a great idea. When I rewire to add a second battery I’ll have to look at that.

New wheels arrived this week. I also reserved the tires I want and hope to have them mounted next week.

Finally done with the basics. Now it’s time to get the interior kit worked out. We have a Jeep rally coming up in a couple weeks that will give us some time “living” out of it.





Next I plan to build a simple 2 drawer platform for the back but that’s probably a winter project. I need to start focusing on stuff around the yard. :)
