Looking for Jeep camping spots around Boone/Blowing Rock,NC. Some where other than the camp grounds. Hope to camp in the snow.

look at old NC 105, globe valley, or the mortimer edgemont areas. I posted some road information in trips. The roads have camp spots off of them. As far as snow........

I have camped at entrance to Brown Mountain. And did the road to the Mortimer ruins. Looking at Lake James area.

I second the 105 recommendation. I've got Gaia map of the road marked with a ton of campsites if you are interested. Just let me know.
