Hopefully some of the other handheld radio manufacturers will do like TidRadio did with their H3 and H8 and put bluetooth programming capabilities but until then and for those older chinese handheld radios check out the TidRadio BL-1 bluetooth dongle.
Paired with the ODMaster app you can program most/many of the chinese radios on the fly. It also works on a bluetooth equipped laptop and the ODmaster website to program. May be able to connect CHIRP to the radio via bluetooth?

ODMaster: I am not all that impressed with the app. It works ok for what it is but to me it's just not as good as CHIRP. On that note, a file could be created in CHIRP and the CSV file loaded into the ODmaster website so that you have it available to load when needed. However, you can share memory files via the app with friends, among other things I haven't played with yet.

The capability to load different memory files on the fly sounds handy to have when travelling, files for each state or area, etc.

I have used it on my Baofeng UV5R and Quansheng UVK5.
