Maybe this will put an end to all the "is Alabama Hills open? " questions.Just ran across this and thought I would share in case it hasn't been seen.
When I called the ranger station they said its closed as theres certain camp grounds that are closed withing the BLM land and bathrooms are closed. Ranger also told me I can setup a primitive campground of my own. This was a for a BLM land area I visit
