Out of curiosity, is the h2 running a 4l60e,or 4l80e? Either way, if you're not running a heavy duty auxiliary trans cooler, I highly recommend you have one installed in series with the stock cooler when you have the new trans installed. That should really help prolong the life of your trans.

It will be a 6L80-E. The one that was in there blew a trans cooler line and smoked the clutches. It was a Jasper not the correct GM trans. I liked the way it shifted tho ☹

Yikes! That doesn't sound like fun at all! I'd still recommend adding an additional cooler in series with the built in cooler if you don't already have one. GM transmissions REALLY don't like heat.

That's for sure. I had to run it about a mile to get to a safe spot and that's all it took. That one is supposed to have a towing package and a huge trans cooler, but I'll definitely check it out. Probably next week sometime before they can even get the new trans from GM. I miss my truck already! I found out that an H2 is almost too wide for my car trailer. Should've taken a pic when it was loaded.
