So I did the thing.
I traded in the FWD 2015 Cherokee and got a 2019 Tacoma SR instead. 4x4, V6, auto. It has the TSS package which included step bars (which I removed as soon as I got home), TSS graphics (which I removed the next day), 17" wheels with Nitto Terra Grapplers, and a couple of other things. I have since added an ATC topper, the 8hp OB boost, a shovel, a slide for my cooler (already got a 52qt instead of the 26qt shown), and some Toyota bling for the grill. Inside is a mount for my phone, and a bag with some soft shackles, a recovery point for the hitch, and a snatch strap.
Next up is a homemade(ish) awning to shade the tailgate, and to sort out where the camping gear goes. After that, the world is my oyster! She isn't meant to live out of for weeks but I want to keep travel costs down by camping 3 nights, then a hotel, then repeat.
I will post up when I add other useful items (skids maybe) and have adventure pics to post.
