Big Bend trip this fall?

Would anyone be up for taking a 3 day weekend in September or October to go wheeling in Big Bend.
I was thinking a Saturday-Monday.

I was thinking of doing West river road to black gap and down to east river road and with time over to old ore road.


I sadly drove 8 hours to the park this past weekend payed for my backcountry permits and was called back to work for an emergency.

Man I wish I could. I love it out there. Trying to get my Tahoe project completed first and then I will be headed out there maybe sometime next year.

The next new moon (best star viewing) is Sept 28th. I was thinking of planning a Thurs-Sat trip. I’d stay till Sunday but have another engagement.

My Father and I went to BBNP Labor Day weekend. Was a little warm but had a great time. Wife and I are going back in December. Leaving Christmas Day. 4 day trip.
