No not really, I have had no issues with the current length. This trip I took a wrong turn on a single lane track, one side was a drop off and the other a sloped hill. I managed to reverse the trailer up the hill with no issues and did a 4 point turn. Before I had the tyre on the front I could jack knife it perfectly at a 90 degree angle.
If I ever start having issues I may lengthen it, but the shorter one tows great behind me an do can go through tight places where other trailers would struggle.
