Arkansas camping weekend

We made a short, weekend trip to Arkansas last weekend. Started at shores lake, up to white rock mountain, then headed toward Cass and wound up camping alongside the Mulberry River Saturday night. It was a good trip, nice to get away from everything for a couple days.

I love Arkansas! Never get tired of going there.

Did basically the same trip over Thanksgiving and ended up going east and camping on the Buffalo. Our first trip there was last June and we hit the Cass area and the Mulberry...LOVED IT! Arkansas has great areas with heated bath houses, so "roughing it" isn't so bad when you can at least have a hot shower before going to bed The Arkansas state parks are the best I have seen

We definitely plan on going back soon. We were glad to see how nice the area is, and that it’s only about a 4 hour drive so it can be done in a weekend.
