That looks pretty awesome, and there seem to be a wide variety of choices and options. A bit bulky, perhaps, when collapsed and maybe too large for a lot of vehicles, but if you base camp and have a trailer, man, that could be a wonderful addition. I can smell pizza or ribs or chicken cooking. . . .

Or you could check to the Snow Peak Fire Pits. They come in three sizes and fold flat so take very little space. Also stainless steel so no rust and easy to clean after the trip. Great for keeping your wood fire up off the ground so it leaves "no trace" and once down to coal great for grilling meat and veggies or cooking with a camp oven. I carry a small one along with some charcoal in the 'Cruiser and it's big enough to cook for 4 people.
