You're a braver man than I. I can't imagine driving a FC from Kazoo to the Keweenaw. If I have the Fc-170 (I should) running by then I am game. That is back up where I went to school.

65 mph sounds good to me. Any faster and my fuel economy drops like a rock.Heat,A/C, Bluetooth for tunes and a rock solid chevy small block, trans, t-cases , power steering with four wheel disks pulling all to a stop. Should cruise at 65 at 2750 rpm.
Why not run it to the UP since I plan to take it to Utah anyway.

If not he can bring the bike [emoji106]Sounds like a completely reasonable plan.
Back to the UP.
I should be ready but will @Tinker have the coal rolling land rover together by then?

It's about 2 weeks too early for me, so I won't be able to make it. Still planning a 7-8 day U.P. trip, however...if anyone is gonna be up there in the weeks after KOAR.Who's all going to KOAR in September? I just bought my tickets and campsite.
I'll probably head up early since it starts on Thursday, take the week prior for vacation.

This is a good plan.@RyanC @58-fc170 @GatorDoc i'm hoping to do the week leading up to that event in the UP. I'd be down to caravan up if not or if anyone is interested in going up early. I've got the same drive as Ryan, roughly 9 hours. My plan right now is to head up the 8th, do some running around the 9th-12th, hit KOAR 13th-15th, and then head home the 16th.

I put that on my calendar. Now I just have to make sure I can get it scheduled off.@RyanC @58-fc170 @GatorDoc i'm hoping to do the week leading up to that event in the UP. September? You bet! Well... unless more than doubling the old torque output twists up my axles & all the spares I haveSounds like a completely reasonable plan.

Yeah! Been working on prepping the bike when I have downtime on the Rover project. I'm hoping to get in a few test trips (am still a moto noob) here in the next couple weeks to fine tune the kit:

It was strange talking to myself/camera, first time I've said much of anything in a video... editing it was so awkward

I hate hearing myself also. Probably why I haven't moved much on getting more videos and the podcast going. Probably a hurdle I need to just jump over.It was strange talking to myself/camera, first time I've said much of anything in a video... editing it was so awkward

My feelings exactly! Way easier with someone else there, but still kinda odd. I must've sent a hundred+ gigs of video (with me trying to narrate) to the recycle bin over the last few years, in favor of subtitles or music.I hate hearing myself also.
