I'm sorry I'm going to miss this one. That is an area of the state I've been looking forward to exploring. I will be down at 3 Rivers Archery with my dad instead so still fun!

After some headaches this weekend getting the website updated and refreshed it's finally back online with some upgrades. Most notable a forum. Because we have people here and people on Facebook I thought I'd give one location for communication between people a go. Head on over, sign up, and give it a go. Not that anyone needs another forum to follow but this one should stay small. I can always add additional forum categories/topics based on recommendations so if there is something you'd like to see let me know.

The forum software is kinda weird, no money for that fancy stuff. You should be able to post up under the Introduce Yourself forum. Once you're in a forum there may or may not be topics that you can post into. If not, you can start a topic in that forum.

Just wanted to say, Hey, Oh I'm a MichiganDer.. :)

Outside of Flint in Davison. Right down the street from "the Mounds" but I'm not much on just Mud not that I shy'd away from getting my new 1 ton Ram dirty

But my idea for over landing is more than just mud but enjoying the land and in my opinion Michigan has some beautiful land to explore.

Really hoping to find some nice trails to go on this fall (End of October after all my traveling)

I did have a blast at Silver Lake Sand Dunes with my K5 which is suppose to be my Overlanding rig.. especially since I learned real quick that the Ram is just too heavy and sinks real quick.

Nice to meet cha... Is there a lot of nice trails down near the D? Seems from me poking around most are up north which is not an after work to relax drive but more of a weekend thing. Wish there was more near Flint to enjoy. I have 10acres I've been thinking of making an obstacle course (more for the skill of getting through different scenarios) but the wife isn't very found of the idea of spending money to tear up the back half of the property. :)

None in the metro Detroit area. I've got to drive 2-3 hours West or north to get to anything. Although there is supposed to be an ORV park being developed in Oakland County along 75 I believe.

Thanks... I do like it but learned that she is a bit heavy in the front with that Cummins Diesel.

Just had a bad day a couple days ago with a fifth wheel but she's still trucking back and forth from Flint to Detroit and back (150 miles round trip and about 4 hours of driving)

Ouch! Seems like every 5W owner does that at some point though lol. Yeah, I hear that's one of the reasons they don't put the cummins in the PW, I do get jealous of them while towing in the hills though!
