So I've got a 1992 Ford E350 7.3 IDI Ambulance Prep pkg. I am in the process of converting it to an RV overlander. I've got serious plans for this rig and will update in this thread. Be sure to follow the thread for updates!
I have a youtube channel that gets a little more in depth on the build out. It's under the same username.

So far, I've built a full size bed in the back, got a propane stove, a decent solar system to power my heater, fridge, and Xbox and TV. As well as to charge my phone/ laptop and any other electronics need charging. It's got 14 gallons of on board drinking water. And just for fun, JBL speakers and a 12" sub behind the driver seat. I've got an on board tank air compressor as well.

Since it's fully liveable now, my next step is to make it off road-able. Next month I'm getting the Weldtec 6" Baja Grocery Getter lift. Locking rear diff is coming around the same time, manual of course. I'm not converting it to 4x4 because I don't have that kind of money and I don't plan on getting that far out. I will also be getting a winch bumper just in case.

Sorry for the long post, just gotta catch you guys up. Pics coming soon, be sure to follow the thread for updates

Welcome and post those pics when you can. Love to see the old boo boo bus get some love after the life of service.

As a Paramedic I would have to have the whole box dipped in a bleach solution before I would ever live in one. No telling what kind of superbugs are living under the all the hard mounted stuff. I'll be interested in the pictures though :)

Can confirm. Today was one of those days I wish we could've burned our 'box' to the ground and just gotten a new unit. Whew!

Following this, having a booboo bus for a rig has always been a dream of mine. Seems like it'd be a great platform.

How have I not put any pictures here yet?

Since I'm officially living in it full time now, I'll have plenty more opportunities for adventures and pictures!

An update for that lift kit: They are on backorder so it will be a couple more weeks. Can't wait for it though! The trails are a little rough right now.

Well I got the rear suspension in. Also painted the wheel wells black for that aesthetic. Can't wait to finish the front! I got everything off the front, starting install tomorrow. My Dad or brother is gonna weld it for me. They haven't figured out who wants to yet.

Here's some photos!
