I'm wondering to buy an Alu-cab Gen3 Expedition Tent

Anyone who has this?
Is this a good investment, it costs a lot!
is it worth it?

it looka great! And I think it's very easy to use.
After reading the web page to the alu-cab I think the mattress is a good place to sleep:smiley:

I know I'm long after you posted, but I thought I'd share my experience.
I bought a Alu-Cab Gen3 in September, and left on a seven week trip in October. Probably spent 4 out of 5 nights in the tent.
It's awesome. Stayed warm, stayed dry. Quick and easy set up and break down.
It's a lot of coin, but I would buy it again.

Thank you for your feedback :)

I have decided to buy the tent.
I will go to Germany in April to buy it there, then I will buy Alucab Hardtop and various other bits :)
so now i'm looking forward to spring :)

The prices in Norway are so high that I save a lot driving to Germany, plus I get a very nice trip out of it :)

have you connected power to the tent? Do you have a picture of where the cable enters the tent and how you have done this?

Connecting power to the tent is this weekend's task. You can run the provided cigarette lighter adapter from the car to the connector in the back right corner of the tent, on the bottom (see pic, it's the little grey box).
I'm going to hardwire mine, it's basically an Anderson connector.

Looks good! Did you come over to Germany for the tent?
