Alpha 0.8.45 Build Patch Notes

Alpha 0.8.45 Build Patch has been released and is in review by Apple. You should receive an email once approved by Apple if you are in the test group.
To join this test group, fill out this form: Expedition Pioneers
Your build should now show: 0.8.44 Build 1 (confusing) (at the bottom of the slide-out menu within the app)
Android build may be downloaded here (option to install APKs must be enabled): OB1_Build_0.8.45.apk

Testing Focus:
Forum usage
Message usage
Notification linking
Feed Interrupts including "All Caught Up", "Latest Member" and "Status Updates"

Bugs Fixed:
- Read Later Filter in Forums

- Select Message no longer shows previous message while loading
- Notification links go to post

New Features:
- Hook up user group icons
- Group Notifications by date
- Latest Member Interrupt in Feed
- Latest Status Update in Feed
- "All Caught Up" Interrupt in Feed

Known issues:
Profile Post notifications do not go to profile posts.
Watched Filter does not update correctly.

I have pictures on the "by category" tab but still not in posts.

The line breaks are now handled,.that's good.

That's inconsistent, I can't reproduce all the time, can't pinpoint the exact trigger

Afternoon,
I'm going in to the topics via pictures, I'm guessing same as above, the only ones i can see are the ones I have responded to even though it does show the threads available. Also if you try to refresh the page it does show the "shadow" of a thread it just never populates.

Something that I have noticed in every new thread release link. The test app takes me to OB via an internet browser. While the stable version of OB takes you to the thread within the app.

I'm seeing the same issue.

It occurred when I went into a particular category, in this case it was Overland Gear>Overland Gear Reviews, all posts were available, I selected " Watched" which worked as expected but then selecting "All" has no effect. In addition, now even going back out to the forums page and the only threads being shown are still the watched threads from the "Overland Gear Reviews" despite selecting "All". Now it seems no matter what Category I go into it only shows watched threads in that particular Category.

Ok, now I found it...the app is only showing most recent threads I have participated in...


On a positive note, the send button now works, and screen shots are sent via the TestFlight app

Ipad 2 mini is still crashing on the new build, but this time I can get the "overland Bound" splash screen and the "power by React Native" on the bottom before it stops.

Hey all - a quick response - looks like we gone and busted the "feed" by implementing the "read later" filter. Looking into it!
