Hello,
Hopefully this link works properly, we explored some beautiful new camp sites off the forestry trunk road (Highway 40) in Alberta from Cochrane up towards Nordegg. The pins are roughly where we camped, some further exploring required ;)
Tons of old logging trails and designated off road routes to explore in the area. Grab a trail map of the Ghost Public Land Use Zone from Alberta Environment and Parks before heading to the area.
The FTR is a great road and trip by itself but for anyone fortunate enough to have time to venture off the main road you will be well rewarded!
