Is it possible to have GPS coordinates too?

I am 90% in !

Do we need to bring a ton of extra water and fuel or will there be place to refill along the way?
I was about to ask the exact question. Gaia GPS shows a couple of gas stations out there, but I'm assuming we will need to pack extra fuel for this one.

So probably a shit load of water as well to be safe, right?

I have a jerry can that i put on my roof rack but hate using it. Seems to end up as a big mess for some reason

@NorCalCrisp @ravenplague, I usually top off gas in big pine and use less than 1/2 tank for this trip. I also bring 10 gallons. As far as water, bring what you need to cook and clean for a normal trip. I think between all of us that shouldn't be an issue. We will need firewood.

Picked up a new smaller tent for the truck so I don't have to take the huge one off the trailer anymore. Stoked for this trip. This will be the longest two weeks ever.

Awesome, so I don't have to buy any jerry cans! I'll buy gas off of you if I run out :) - $1.99/gal right?

My friend from truckee is going to meet me either at the camp or Lone Pine. Do any of you guys know if there is a place she can safely leave her car for a few days?

Since you guys are going to Alabama Hills, she can leave her car at the Whitney Portal parking lot ( I think its about a 10 min drive from Alabama Hills). I've left my car there on two separate trips when I backpacked Mt Whitney. Both trips were 5 days long and I didn't have any issues.
