I can get even more detail for those that want to see the actual trails. @Narbob inbox me the routes you want to take and I can get a driving route together.

I'll try to trace a route using those destinations. It shouldn't be too difficult... Thanks buddy!I pretty much laid out the route in my first post.
Is it possible to have GPS coordinates too?I'll try to trace a route using those destinations. It shouldn't be too difficult... Thanks buddy!

I was about to ask the exact question. Gaia GPS shows a couple of gas stations out there, but I'm assuming we will need to pack extra fuel for this one.Is it possible to have GPS coordinates too?
I am 90% in !
Do we need to bring a ton of extra water and fuel or will there be place to refill along the way?

This smaller tent is what im thinking about getting. Another reason Im bummed im not going ....Booooooooooooooo
Picked up a new smaller tent for the truck so I don't have to take the huge one off the trailer anymore. Stoked for this trip. This will be the longest two weeks ever.

Awesome, so I don't have to buy any jerry cans! I'll buy gas off of you if I run out :) - $1.99/gal right?@NorCalCrisp @ravenplague, I usually top off gas in big pine and use less than 1/2 tank for this trip. I also bring 10 gallons. As far as water, bring what you need to cook and clean for a normal trip. I think between all of us that shouldn't be an issue. We will need firewood.

Since you guys are going to Alabama Hills, she can leave her car at the Whitney Portal parking lot ( I think its about a 10 min drive from Alabama Hills). I've left my car there on two separate trips when I backpacked Mt Whitney. Both trips were 5 days long and I didn't have any issues. My friend from truckee is going to meet me either at the camp or Lone Pine. Do any of you guys know if there is a place she can safely leave her car for a few days?
