Good evening everyone,

Well the inevitable has happened. I have a 2018 GMC Canyon All Terrain and it was introduced to a deer the other night. BUT, this does have a silver lining I think. I am looking for advice on a bumper that's going to be able to handle the trail and a low speed animal strike. I already have heavier brakes on the plan, along with shocks and struts to handle a heavier front end, and a possible initial set up in the box. I have seen a few on the websites, but I am also looking for any pros and cons that people have currently for their offroad bumpers. Pictures would be really helpful as well please.

I was looking around and the ARB site doesn't have anything listed for a canyon. I know DV8 has a winch bumper, but I'm looking to get wider coverage, without it looking like it just put in a fat dip of chew in.

Ironman 4x4 usually has options. CBI Offroad, C4 Fabrication, usually have options for trucks. Deer suck!

Is it possible that the larger version of trucks like the Sierra fitting?
Cant imagine a bumper for a full size fitting a mid size. Then again the new midsize are big compared to their predecessors. How wide is a 2018, or is it totalled and are you getting a new one ?

It's not totalled. But with how much I drive and it being through some high wildlife traffic areas, I'd like some better options. Then I wouldn't have to go through as much of a wait. Unless I hit a moose. Not much survives those beast
