I’m looking at planning a route for MAY 20th ish time,
1. the route is mostly not on highways,
2. where possible stop and tent in a 4x4 area for a morning or evening play
3. Need to stop and visit the clown motel as the fiancée is a cult movie buff
4. Stop in Vegas for a night free tickets and shows shower and replenish
5. Head back to Calgary via cresten Bc to follow a different route.
Need advice on looking on the route
1. What are average snow and road access like in April
2. What areas are closed until later in the year
3. What are sights or attractions along this route
4. Is there a better route to take
5. How many km or miles on average per day can you drive on gravel or b class roads ( I’m thinking of 8/10hrs driving @ 650km 400miles) with stops
6. What are the general conditions in these areas in April
Anyone wishing to join up please contact me to help plan
Current tips
Locations to visit along route
@Mojavewanderer
1. Death Valley April shouldn’t be too hot. (Added)
2. In Tonopah, the mining park, and Central Nevada Museum are worth a visit as well.
