The future is the past! Or something like that. I recently bought what i hope will be a long term platform to build up and play around with.
Got it for 10k off Facebook with the following:
New wheels and tires
Upper and lower ball joints
CV axles
New rack and pinion
Fresh spark plugs and wires
New 02 Sensor
New brakes (calipers and rotors)
New Radiator.
And best of all, NO RUST!
So far i've added a Tacovinyl decal and went with the classic Toyota Hilux "T" emblem. The rear emblems are machined aluminum, and the "T" is a variant to avoid trademark.
Next up will be an ARB awning and a HF setup for my //Fresh// Technician license.
