8/5 - Signal Peak

I am planning on making a run up Signal Peak on 8/5. This would be going in from the Eagle Lakes side and coming out Cisco Grove.

Plan would be to meet at trail head and depart up trail by 8:30 am.
On the way back down, stop in Nevada City at Jernigan's Tap House & Grill for lunch, then possibly stop at one or both, Knee Deep and Moonraker.

I am heading up from West Sac, so open for meeting up in route or at the trail head.

Sheet metal is cheap, pick some up at Home Depot and a can of paint

It would depend on your skills and a spotter. In a group, getting a spotter would not be an issue. Also, do you have a locker or ATRAC or other traction device?

Yeah, I've got all the levers you can have. Atrac, lockers in the rear, crawl.

It is not the same a Fordyce. It is much easier and shorter. It does start at the same place as Fordyce.

Coming from SF so there's no way I'd be able to make it to the trailhead by 8:30am. Take pics and post them so we can see what it's like up there!

Are you going to be on FRS or Ham in case I'm trying to raise you? My plan right now is to head to Bowman Lake tomorrow and set up camp there. My one big worry is that it will be so crowded I can't leave the site on Saturday morning for risk I'll lose my spot.

Sorry I couldn't make it. The road from Bowman to 20 has a bridge out, it didn't seem like a good idea to do it twice to make the run.
