So I've been kicking around getting the 5 Star Tune for my 02 Excursion v10. Being doing some research (watching youtube) and it sounds like it is a worthwhile expense. I know I wont get much if any mpg improvement from it but I do like the idea of better shift points for the transmissions. Our Ex has a 6" lift and 35" tires and as expected it just doesn't seem to shift at the right time when climbing hills (on the paved road). So does anyone here have any experience with it?

It helps. You might need to regear though. 4.56 would be optimal.
