Just completed a one day 4x4, fundamentals course with Overland Experts in NC this past Saturday.
Highly recommend these professionals. They’ve been around for quite some time and also train SF and Navy Seals how to drive 4x4s. I was thoroughly impressed and should have brought my wife.
My confidence level has improved as well as my ability to navigate more challenging terrain.
We learned the principles of Tread Lightly, and their method of operating a four-wheel-drive vehicle, as well as learning how to negotiate an obstacle.
We also obecome familiar with the Hi-Lift Jack and winching, and the necessary equipment needed for safe recovery.
These pics don’t do it justice.
Check them out at: North Carolina One-Day Driving Class – Overland Experts
They have several types of training for groups or individual one-on-one.
I’m interested in a field expedient mechanic class they’re going to do this summer.
You won’t regret checking them out.
God bless.
