Put a Tacoma 65041 part number front hitch on my 1997 4runner. Just in case anyone is wondering, it fit perfectly and was very easy to install.

Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Thanks! I read online that it fit but it was another forum so I was weary. Fit well, so I thought I'd post here to help others out.
Just built a front hitch for my 2004 Tacoma. It bolts to the front of the frame with the factory mounting bolts.
I was wondering if this front hitch would also work on my 2000 4Runner SR5 4WD. I know its the same Gen as the 1997 that's posted above, but I was just wondering if anyone had additional information on this before I made the purchase. I'd like to order this front hitch and install it for the spring season. Thank you in advance for any information.
