285 with no lift

So I have read a lot of forms and talk to a lot of shops. But just so y'all no you can put a 285 on a stock tacoma. If you run a 17x9 with +18 offset ..... no rub

Now stuff the tire up in the wheel well and try to turn. 3rd gen have 1" taller ride height than a second gen. Not trying to be a hater,but I can't see that holding true through full range of motion.

I’ve got 285’s on my stock suspension 4Runner and had major rubbing issues. Planning to do some shaving/trimming this weekend to eliminate it.

Lift is coming in a few months.

Looks great though man!
