Very nice rig! Looking good with that lift and rim/ tire combination. Enjoy!

Which lift is it and what tire size, please?
Thank you. I am looking at how to get a contact in europe to bring in parts and stuff that you can't get in usa for them. I saw a bull bar that is cool.. but won't ship to USA last night. So.. but to answer your questions.

33in tires. using the 2 inch rude rhino rods.

Let me know if I can help you to get in contact with equipment suppliers here in Europe.
I am happy when I can help. Just let me know.

Which bullbar is it that you are looking for?

I already have a nitrogen tank (large) and (small) from racing cars where nitrogen helps reduce heat and expansion which alters handling characteristics. in those environments however, you are literally cooking the tire, but I agree about street cars 95% of them never really push a tire to the point they can't dissipate heat, but then again.. most of that heat radiates out of the brake calipers on a road race car. anyone that says it doesn't effect a race car... needs to drive a high power / low weight car for a whole race on one set of tires. it does.. big time. if you are racing a series that does multiple tire changes .. its not an issue.. because MONEY. but low buck .. one set racing.. I've run tires in three seperate events on nitrogen.. when the same tire on atmosphere cooks in a race.
Yup, I have many a track day under my belt and the dry nitrogen (keyword dry, not nitrogen) is needed for predictable changes in tire pressure as they warm up. Nitrogen itself follows the ideal gas law and expands with temperature the same as other gasses like oxygen, CO2, and "air." The moisture in "air" is what makes pressures unpredictable. Precise, predictable tire pressures are necessary when racing on the track. On the street and offroad, nah.

But, since you already have the tanks then you might as well make use of them if you've got the room. Faster than using a 12v compressor but not as many fills per tank as CO2, which I'm sure you know.

Sounds like you're having fun fine-tuning your new LR, I've always enjoyed learning and tweaking a new vehicle for what I want out of it. The truck in my sig is the first vehicle that I haven't grown bored of, which my wife is ecstatic about because I used to get bored and buy something new every 1-3 years (I think my vehicle tally is something like 24 at this point). Took forever to find something that wasn't full of compromises.

Take care! Looking forward to reading about your progress.

you sir, on right on target. I did mean 'dry'.. also, I have a couple of 4000 psi regulated paintball tanks that I likely will have inspected and put into service for the task.

I am having fun learning the defender.. and building the 99 land cruiser.... one for the road / light off-road. one for the zombie apocalypse. lol.

I am curios about the lift. As far as I know the 110 comes with air suspension and you can lift it at the push of a button. So how can you lift it more without replacing the whole thing... ?
L.E... nevermind, I did a google search, those lift rods keep the air suspension but give you a constant lift. Will it affect the warrantee?

yes. the lift rods keep the suspension up 2 inches.

NO it will not affect the warranty.

NO it does not harm the system in any way. Land Rover puts a LOT of play into the air suspension / aka bags. also the bags are not that expensive (as a part) to replace over time.

Thank you. I have another question, because I also had a vehicle with air suspension (only in the back ) and I am doing my homework in case I get another. ( I loved the air suspension, it was a Landcruiser Prado )
What I noticed on my vehicle is that on the high lift setting, the back was getting pretty stiff. How does the 110 behaves with the 2 inch lift, did you noticed if its significantly stiffer or more uncomfortable.. ?

i drove it before I bought it.. then had them put the lift on at delivery. the ride is the same... exactly. the tires made it a bit rougher until I reduced pressure by 5 psi.

looks great. what tires are you running? I am looking for a wiring harness to tie the fridge into the trucks battery system... have a remote battery that gets charged off the alternator that sits in the back with the fridge so it doesn't kill the starter battery.

I am trying to work out a supply line for parts out of the UK right now... but I have made some airline tracks that I am about to mount into the back for tiedowns. My plan on the gear is to be able to switch back and forth from the land cruiser. just use the cruiser for really rough stuff.. and the defender for weekend and 'soft' trips. one to dent... one to use daily. lol

I have the optional wrangler all-terrains right now because I can’t make up my mind on what to get. I may just put KO2s in 265/60/20 or Nitto ridge grapplers. The other option is lucky 8’s rear caliper swap to go down to 18s and get a mud tire. But I have a highway commute during the week so I’m not convinced it’s a good idea for me.

As far as battery I have a goalzero 500x which is perfect for the 3/4 day trips I do. Unless you’re doing weeks long expeditions you can probably get away with a portable. But if your mind is made up take a look at the autoplicity YouTube channel. Sean did an awesome redarc install. A couple guys on the Facebook forums also have done dual battery installs. Good luck

I built a battery out of 6 motorcycle lipo4 starting batteries. run a power line to it at 35 amps to charge, and it will run my large snomaster fridge 4 days. used it on my trip this year. unless you plan on sitting much longer... the 35 amp charges it from almost dead in 12 hours. so my daily runs and stops at night were basically using the top 15% of the battery. was cheap way to go... I'm thinking about importing custom batteries as part of a overlanding gear store my kids want to do as a business.
can you link an example or some details about the motorcycle start batteries ? how many amps each ?
