Moving on from the Jeep world. Here is the truck “before”.

This will become an overland rig. I’ve driven a Range Rover. These are missing a few gadgets but they will do everything the rover will.

Here's the plan - basics first. This is a fantastically capable truck stock. So Im doing things like racks, lights, and comms first. Dual battery.

Some electrical upgrades. I wont lift it until later. 33" tires soon as practical. (It came with 32, but they are highway, so Ill get a good tread and go up to 33). It wont take much to get it fully functional for overlanding quickly, then I can do a lift and maybe wheels.

I always loved the 1st gen Sequoia's when the time comes to lift it check out toytec they have amazing customer service not sure if they have a lift for the newer body style Sequoia's.

I found a lift that retains the rear air suspension. I forget the company name, but I bookmarked it. The lift is not the critical factor on this truck - its surprisingly capable. It has 32s stock, and I can go to a 33 with a slight lift at some point. All I need to do (Camel Trophy style) is an aggressive set of 32" All Terrains.

Just turn the traction control off (should still be the same 3 levels of "off" as in the tundra - pushing button 3 times), put that baby in tow/haul mode and go have some fun. Commonly known as "beast mode"
