I am thinking of putting an Old Man EMU 2" Lift Kit on my truck , and I don't know if I need the Medium or Heavy . I already have a Camper Shell and plan to carry camping equipment in the back and maybe a rooftop tent. I also have a pop up camper that I might pull . If I decide to keep the Popup I will be carrying Kayaks on top. I would like some thoughts from you guys on what you think would be the best application, they are both the same price so I am just needing info . Thanks

Might be a good idea to get an estimated weight of everything you'll have on the truck.
If you'll have it loaded most of the time the heavy springs might be better. If you only add all mentioned items on for trips, the medium rate springs will be the way to go. Also depends on off road travel if any is intended.

Well speaking from experience over the last 2-1/2 years I've been running the OME 2" lift with the 661 weight HD heavy duty springs as I expect to be adding weight over time with my vehicle I have constantly am loading camp gear or landscape supplies since I run a landscape supply business... I was worried about having to rough of a ride but when coupled with the nirocharger shocks I've been impressed how well of an improvement the pickup feels when commuting as I drive 85 miles back in forth from home to work but it shines on the trail I don't feel the wash board roads nearly as much either however that could also be do the the tires I am running Falken Wildpeeak AT3W 285/75R16

All that being said I am happy I chose the HD over MD for me it has work well... maybe some day when I have to replace shocks I'd look at getting the BP-51's but for now id rather put my money into more camp gear or at least save money so I can take more time off away from work to enjoy this beautiful country of ours!
