Hey all. Thought I would start a historical build thread since I’ve had the truck for over two years now. Then I’ll try my best to keep it updated. Here goes!

Purchase day! The Silver Bullet is a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Crew Cab 4WD in Silver Ice Metallic.

First off road trip January 2018. Got a little mud on the tires and explore the Ouachita National Forest.

Installed a RC 921 leveling kit, new longer bump stops, and 589 Fab HD shock skids.

I tried this bed tent for camping on a few trips. It was decent, just flimsy and a hassle to put together. Also had to take everything out of the bed and use an air mattress.

Installed 285/70/17 (33”) Falken Wildpeak MTs.

Ditched the bed tent and bought a second hand Smittybilt Overlander RTT and my dad and I made my cross bars for the bed.

Installed AEV Crestone Dualsport wheels with the protection ring!

Upgraded the illumination.

Installed a Duralast Platinum H8 AGM battery to power the Alpicool CF55 Fridge

Sold the Smittybilt tent and upgrade to a 23 Zero Breezeway 62. 10x better tent.

Installed Mountain Hatch tailgate table cutting board insert

Raised up the bed crossbars so that I can fit my fridge in the bed underneath the tent, freeing up room in the cab.

Thats pretty much it right now. Planning a few more things this summer but I have some body damage to take care of before any more upgrades.

Forgot to mention that I am running a Midland 15W MXT275 GMRS unit for radio comms with the Midland 3 dB Ghost Antenna on the roof with the magnetic mount.
