Don’t know if I am sad to say, or happy, maybe a little of both. Traded the truck for a ‘13 Rubicon. Got a good deal and didn’t have to pay any money(after about 2 hours of haggling the price). The CCLB was so nice, and so quite inside, but just wouldn’t get me where I want to go here in WA as it was just too wide(no literally too wide, already too trails I couldn’t fit in the entrance) and long.

I loved that truck but with my cancer and not knowing the time left I figure I might as well have fun and get out an camping without restriction.
Good choice man. Get out and see everything. No limits now. :)

I hate to make an excuse and to say the Colorado limited me, because if I was a better and more experienced driver I’m sure I could have gotten on the trails I thought I couldn’t.

It was seriously such a great truck. If I ever go back to a truck and have a Taco or Colly/Denali as an option, the GM is where I’m going 100%.

And yes, no limits.

It's not an excuse when it's the truth. That model isn't the best offroad platform and you would have had to sink a bunch of basically unrecoverable money into mods to even come close to the new rig. With the mods come inevitable headaches. You now have a solid performer right out of the box. I say it is a good choice given your current needs.
