I always enjoy reading this build threads, great ideas come from these. I will add mine, hope you can get some good ideas from it. I am a first time Toyota owner, and am impressed with it so far. Options for these trucks in the after market are impressive. I will add photos later of items I added and changed on the truck.

Major items so far:
Full skid plate package for engine, transmission, and transfer case. Purchased from RCI metalwork. I am very impressed with this company and its products. I have not used them for intended purpose yet ( hit something big) but have had items bounce off of them on and off road so they do their job. Fit and finish were superb.

K and N washable filter. An item I have many friends recommend. I cant say it has increased my horsepower much as my little engine has very little. It is nice to know the filter is washable and reusable.

Extended rear breather for the rear axle. I bought the kit from Low Range Off road as I did not want to buy each piece individually. Put it on and it has been working over 2 years now. No need to adjust or tighten.

Front recovery point, bought a bolt on from Bulletproof fabrication. Again a great product that fit good. I did need to file and clean up the main attachment hole, and have had to remove paint from D shackles to get them to fit well.

Rear recovery point, bought a Crown Automotive version. Not overly happy with this. It rusts heavily in the 2 inch hitch point. It is not solid, but a hollow box like the 2 inch hitch itself. No problems with it yet, but I am suspect of it.

Bed rail bars for the RTT. Purchased from 4x Innovations. Very heavy duty product. Holds the tent and my wife and I with ease. Heavy in weight but strong.

RTT-Tepui. Smallest tent made by them. So far (1 trip) it worked like a charm for camping.

Softtopper canvase bed cover. My second product for a truck from them. I love the idea of a camper shell that removes with ease and stores away in small space. I have never had an issue with either one. Whether going 80 mph down the highway or crawling through the bush they hold up well.

Air pump, Viair 400 model. Quiet and works well, automatic shut off does not waste juice and it will fill my tires from 15 pound to 40 pounds in minutes.

Wheels and tires. I am pleased with the OEM steel wheels, only weigh 28 pounds by themselves and I like them. Tires are Copper AT3, 245 75 16 C rated. I have run the AT, ATR and now the AT3. Love my Cooper tires.

Stickers, lots of off road and adventure stickers. I put all mine under the hood.

Items to come:

Bilstein shocks, possilby a 2 inch adjust in the front. Icon spring add a leaf pack for 2 inches in the back. If I do this I will replace tires with 235 85 16 to fill the extra room in the wells. $$$$$

Aluminum fuel tank skid plate, RCI. $$

ARB air locker. $$$$$

Front 2 inch hitch receiver from Mobtown. To this will be a Warn winch on a hitch receiver plate for front and rear mounting and wiring. $$$$$

More Stickers $

Looking good! I like the solo style camper you got, Ive used mine for 8 nights on a Eastern Canada road trip but having a 5'6" short bed and being about 5;10" its not the most comfortable option

I run 3-4 days on my own no problem, after 6-7 it's rougher.

So far so good. I took our long western trip this summer. The only short coming is the rear leaf springs. I am waiting on the time and money to rebuild the suspension with a nice 2 inch lift and get some more support under me. The under bell plates did a good job of protecting the rig, we banged the truck off some big rocks. Very pleased with the power of the little 2.7 engine, fuel mileage was great. More money more stuff.
