My 2015 Chevy Silverado hit 100,000 miles this month, and it needed some freshening up.
Here's where the truck started:
2015 Silverado LT Crew 4x4
5.5 ft Bed
5.3l V8
Tow Package
First thing I did was to put some 285/70R17 BFG KO2s on it and replaced the factory exhaust with a cat-back system with a Flowmaster and dual side exit.
Since I use it for my business, slapped on some logos.
Earlier this year, I slapped on a new company wrap.
As the BFGs started to wear and the factory suspension started to get tired, I realized I needed to make some upgrades if I wanted to use the truck like I wanted.
So, here's what I did:
Icon Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 kit (front coilovers with Eibach race springs, new tubular upper control arms, and rear bypass shocks)
ProComp Wheels
295/70R17 Toyo Open Country RTs
DiabloSport 87 Octane Tune (CA Compliant) and Speedo Recalibration.
With the Icon kit, the front came up almost 3 inches when leveled out. I still need to trim the front fender wells a bit to allow for better clearance at full lock. But the truck drives, handles, and looks great.
Excited to get out on some trails again.
