This Started Out As My Old Mans Truck He Picked Up In 2014, His First Ever 4x4. Sadly He Passed At 54 Years Old In 2018, I Inherited The Truck And Have Been Slowly Building It Up As A Remembrance To Him So I Can Still Take My Ma Out Camping. Named The Truck "'Ol Red" As It Was One Of His Favorite Songs.

Started Out With A Go Rhino Push Bar/ Winch Mount (Mile Marker 12k Winch) & 2 6" Kc Lights, Leveling Kit, 17" American Racing Baja Wheels Wrapped In 285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Carr Light Bar With 6" KC Lights & 2 Amber Pods, Hooker Blackheart Cat Back Exhaust, With Some Other Trail Necessities. Unfortunately, Last Year Was Not The Best Year For Me (Or The Truck). Had A Run In On A Local Road And The Front End Had A Meeting With The Backside Of A Tow Truck And It Was Totaled.Silverado Stock.jpgLighthouse.jpgPreCrash.jpgTelegraph.PNGWreck.jpg

As Fate Would Have It The Truck Ended Up Being Bought At Auction And Found Its Way To Dearborn (50 Miles From Home) At A Shop 5 Minutes From Where I Work At The Proving Grounds. I Spoke With The Owner Of The Shop And Told Him I Would Like To Buy The Truck Back Once He Was Finished With It. He Never Did Contact Me When It Was Complete BUT I Randomly Ran Across It On Facebook Market Place A Few Months Later...Needless To Say It Is Mine Once Again. Now That The Truck Is Rebuilt And I Have "Rebuilt" Myself From Overcoming Medical And Addiction Issues Last Year I Have Rebranded The Name To "Redemption" To Play Off The Color And What I Have Been Through.

During The Rebuild It Was Upgraded To A 3.5" Rough Country Lift. Since Having It Back I Have Swapped To BFG All-Terrains As Well. I Have A Slew Of New Parts Ready For Install Including Another Go Rhino Winch Push Bar, Warn 12k Winch, Smittybilt Roof Rack (Been Waiting Months For The Light Cage), Full Size BFG Spare And A Few Other Odds And Ends. Looking To Fabricate A Roll Bar, Eliminate The Steps And Build Some Rock Slider Steps And A Rear Bumper With Swing Arm Tire Carrier.

The truck is very cool, however the real story is you overcoming the addiction. I'm 27 years sober, so your accomplishment speaks to your drive and determination to get and stay clean. So, congrats on both projects and yeah, your health and well being is a project right? LOL
