I ordered one for a TRD Pro 4Runner. It will fit second gen FJ's. I have a welder, so it should fit first gen as well. They are less expensive than any of the ones I've seen aftermarket (RCI & Ricochet). For now I have the stock bash plate. It's pretty bashed. Lol.Are you keeping the stock front skids or getting aluminum ones?

No, they are not car seat friendly. My bro looked into one years ago. But that was his dilemma.Love FJ's.. Would have gotten one if it was more carseat friendly.

I went with Bilstein 5100's up front. Toytec Coil over sleeves, with a 1" spacer. This way I get lift without having to preload the springs and get a bouncy ride up front. Rear's got Metal Tech Long Travel. They are the first gen 2" lift springs. Rear shocks are Bilstein 7100, compression 78-rebound 275. I plan on loading this thing down. I can change valving and rebuild these shocks when the seals wear out.
