First off if you get the name reference from my favorite tv show without looking it up your awesome !!

This will be my second sequoia I’ve owned , loved the first one and regretted selling it so I got another after bouncing around so many vehicles . I say it every time but not a lot lined up for a “build” just going to Concentrate on creature comfort’s and storage for now and just getting out and driving it and exploring .

it’s a 05 limited with rear air suspension , leather , non working dvd player and blown jbl speakers .

"I have an update, and that contains new information." And the story of that update is: that I have always liked the first gen Toyota Sequoia. It's kind of like if Toyota made a vehicle to compete with the Chevy Tahoe.

Non functional DVD player is a highly desirable option, well done.

You should buy their sofa too, it has a clear vinyl protector on it that they bought in 1967.

LOL, nice truck, seriously

Hard to tell but made a “upgrade” . Swapped on a set of 265/70/17 that came off my last truck giving me a whopping extra almost inch of highway tread , terrain tearing up tire BC5CD7BD-B1A7-4246-BB5F-111C75E6C384.jpeg

So to the good and the bad on the sequoia

Good
•TBelt water pump and serp belt just replaced
•Rear air bags and sensor just replaced
•Brakes just done
•Came from AZ/NV so no rust
•Interior doesn’t smell like a wet dog smoked in it ( be surprised how many used cars smell like a dumpster fire)
• 1 owner
•Already has a couple scratches and a few small dents so I don’t have to worry about trail damage from brush and branches as much
4x4 engages with ease ( my last one wouldn’t go in 4 low )
•No rips tears or stains on the interior

not so good
•Came from AZ/NV so with extreme heat comes shot dried out bushing
•Speakers are blown
•DVD player doesn’t work ( don’t really care)
•Power side mirror switch is not working all the way , it will go down and fold in but nothing else
•needs 3rd row seats

Had to make a run up to the Seattle area for work , 320 mile round trip had the cruise set to 72 most the way . Not bad , I’m sure I’ll destroy those numbers soon with new tires lolF424EDA4-6927-4F0E-A0BF-55E709A6E8D9.jpeg

-"Give me all the gasoline and windshield wiper fluid you have."
-yes, sir.
-"Wait, wait...I worry what you heard was 'give me A LOT of gasoline and windshield wiper fluid.' What I sad was ""give me ALL the gasoline and windshield wiper fluid you have."" ...do you understand?

Well as my mind does it’s normal thing I wonder crazy stuff like … what would it take to squeeze a 37 on it . Hmmm little trim here , tub a firewall there , little body lift , small suspension lift ….. hmmm . I mean technically were only speak in 2 1/2 inches more tire to fit in . 3263D9A9-E2FB-49B1-ACAC-B32A90A0F8BB.png380A5185-21CA-4F7D-9085-ACD555EF8296.png

180,000 miles

Went out for a little evening drive with my little one to let her drive a little and try out the sequoia on some gravel roads . Rides rather well over bumps I’m sure size and weight helps but ran into a small issue while crawling over a rock , it bumpers and rocked and somehow the airbag fell out . Luckily I was able to deflate it and continue on our way but it did cut the abs line in the process. 1C6FEF79-B235-4D31-9E04-C782A4634F5D.jpegF78A3B84-2CE7-4C28-8C1A-0C23DAF99E78.jpeg98FAD45E-25AF-4C2F-B095-63E84F3D3BC0.jpeg4CD84FA0-61F2-43E8-91E6-885ED751B11C.jpeg695D3503-4AC8-4693-BF50-6F03CB7A4891.jpeg

Pilfered the roll bar storage bags from the rubicon I had and mounted them in the back of the sequoia still need to do a bit more fiddling with the placement and add some more bolts . Not sure if I really care for the way they sit but with trying to keep the 3rd row belts functioning it’s really the best spot for them . 8C5820AB-31D5-4B87-A06F-CA68C77A746E.jpeg41FBC3FD-B1E6-48FE-9F51-DEB07CB1BE7C.jpeg
