Building up an '03 Tundra as well, with a Flippac - any updates? Particularly on the dual battery setup!
Awesome! I've been keeping my eyes half open for a flippac myself (to no avail as of yet). I was able to get everything installed and it works great. I also upgraded my CB. I can post a few pictures later if you're interested.

Yes - photos of where/how you relocated the steering pump would be rad! I found Artec makes a PC1500 battery tray that should clear the ABS and air box (maybe a little trimming on the feet of the air filter box). My biggest headache is the battery tray and location to mount my ML-ACR, besides that it's just finding the right wires and fuses and so on.

I actually bought the flippac from the factory a decade ago and have held on to it despite not loving some of it's problems. It originally went on a T100, but recently moved over to my new-to-me Tundra. Even with it's problems, it's really hard to beat... still seems like a better solution than an AT habitat, GoFast Camper, and others.

Getting into it and realized I didn't see where you had relocated your power steering reservoir to. Bad planning. But I did lay out where I want to mount the tray... taking baby steps because I'm not great at fab work. I'm basically planning on bolting the tray through washer stacks for now and upgrade to some legitimate standoffs later. I know I can get three bolts through, maybe a fourth. That'd be the back left, then the two wood blocks (using for washer stack estimates).

I did notice some other folks with Optima's were able to put the battery right up against the inside of the fender but the Odyssey needs to clear the hood strut and leave ~1/2" gap between the wall and the battery.

Well since I disappeared for 4 months I'm hoping you were able to get your secondary battery taken care of!

How are you liking the flippac?

Well I'm reviving this thread since the truck is getting ready to go through some more changes and I'm going to have questions.

Not much has changed from my last post until now. We relocated from the Southwest desert to the east coast a couple years ago so I'm now learning how to deal with rust. Yay...

I have an aux battery question for all you smart people. I'm currently running the National Luna dual battery system but have upgraded my aux battery to one that I want to relocate to the bed due to size and future hardware considerations. I'm thinking that this system might have to be upgraded because I want to add the ability to use solar and shore power. Am I off base with this assumption?

Electrical stuff has never been my forte so please excuse any stupidly basic questions I may ask.
